About Chùa Quán Sứ

This pagoda, often used in official ceremonies and meetings, is all that’s left of a 15th-century hall that burned down. The pagoda features a beautiful gilded main hall, with a few smaller shrines around it.

There are the images of the past, present, and future incarnations of Buddha; and the many wax figures of former monks.

Open from Monday to Sunday 6:00 am to 7:00 pm

(Translated by Google) A Buddhist temple I stumbled across in Hanoi. There are temples in quite a few places, but I think this is the first time I've seen the statue properly.
